Dear Eckhart,
I've listened to the first three of your Webcasts on the subject of your latest book 'A New Earth.' I think it's great the way you take questions by Skype from people all over the world. It's inspired me to send you a question of my own.
Ekhart, it is 6.30am as I write this to you and I am up and sitting at my computer at this ungodly hour for this reason; there is a bird in a tree outside my bedroom window that's making the sound that a supermarket trolley with a broken wheel badly in need of oil makes. What I want to know Ekhart is, how can I feel at one with that birds essence, knowing that it is only my ego and my unconsciousness being hurt by this noise and not feel the necessity to go outside and hit that bird with my iron frying pan in order that I may stay unconscious tomorrow morning a little longer.
Yours sincerely,
Ellen
