SAVED FOR A RAINY DAY

On Saturday the day looked like this outside ALL DAY LONG

And like this inside.

So that evening Rod and I decided to liven things up a little by playing a different kind of a game

Meet the other players

2 whiskey tumblers
Limes,
Sugar,
Light Rum
Lemon & Lime Soda (7U or similar)
Fresh Mint
Crushed Ice

Rub the rims of the glasses with lime and place rim down on a plate sprinkled with sugar. Crush some mint leaves and drop into the glass.

Fill the glass with crushed ice, add a slice of lime and pour the rum and 7U over the ice.

Add some more fresh mint and stir

Ahhhhhhh!

THIS COCKTAIL COMES WITH A WARNING: OBJECTS IN THE GLASS APPEAR LESS POTENT THAN THEY REALLY ARE.

You have been warned.

Enjoy

MMMMMMMmmmmm. Can I come to a cocktail evening in your house, please? I'm good at Scrabble too...

Could your deck be any longer, btw?

Hahaha, amazing!I thought my coffee and chocolate feast was an indulgence on that blustering rainy day! I need to refocus my idea of indoor fun.

We had a typhoon here last Sunday, and all I drank was hot chocolate---clearly, I'm missing on the fun!
