I remember the month of December.

Generally speaking I'm an optimistic kinda girl who likes to look on the bright side life but at this stage I have to be quite honest and admit that things have been quite simply SHITE recently. To say that this past week has been one of the worst weeks of the year would NOT, IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM, be an understatement.

We've all five of us been SICK, SICK, SICK, Rod too in his own way but I won't even go there with regard to him only to say that he's been so out of sorts that he's been working remotely from home and mostly in his pyjamas for the past week. I also won't go into the details of the 'threat' of a lawsuit against us by the mother of Rachel's ex because........it's so pathetic a situation I can't give myself permission to waste my time tapping out the words on the keyboard.

What I can tell you about is the gallons of Buttercup medicine that's been swallowed by our kids and the fact that our bottle recycling crates have never been so empty nor our Solpaedine stash so plentiful than this week.

And I must admit that if it weren't for the fun lunch in Dundrum Centre with my girlfriends on Friday and the trip to the Ice Bar with the 'girls' on Saturday night I don't think I'd be able to make it to the end of the month without a trip to Saint John of Gods.

And I kid you not on that matter.

hang in there -- I am sure some good will manifest itself in the next few weeks.

Ah crap, Ellen.

Rachel's ex? Lawsuit? yeesh.

I hope things turn around for Christmas and the New Year. Things'll feel better as soon as the flu is past.

Sorry, hon, take care of yourself. Let me know if you are passing this way and I will give you cookies.
