CLOWNING AROUND

This is a commission for Karen Harper, founder of the Irish Craft Association. I just have to finish his laces when his shoes dry and sign him and he's finished. I know I'm posting this photo of him a little early but I like those who commission me to do a piece for them to get to see the painting at some stage before it's finished in case it's not what they had in mind when they commissioned the piece in the first place.
It's a present for her Dad who collects Clowns and I hope it's what she wanted and that he'll like this fella.
Personally I find them a little scary.
