THE WEEKEND

On Friday I skimmed off the top layer of grass and created a 30 foot flowerbed in the front garden. I planted some flowers with Audrey and Sarah watching over my shoulder to see who could a spot a worm first, at every turn of the shovel, to add to their growing collection. The Husband helped with the last couple of feet and when it was finished he wiped away my tears and put a hand around my back and under my elbow to help me make it back into the house.

On Sunday we decided to drive to Wexford Town, a one and a half hour drive from here. We walked down the narrow old streets and along the harbour and stopped for coffee in this cafe which the younger two found MOST interesting and I didn't want to leave.
