I HEAR THIS AROUND MY HOUSE A LOT THESE DAYS - SCRACKIN WITCH YA? - TRANSLATION - 'WHAT IS THE CRACK WITH YOU?'

I've mentioned here before how I cook for the month in advance so I can have more time to myself for my painting, meeting up with my girlfriends and shopping. Yesterday I did just that and so today, now that The Husband is off the cigarettes and I have about €70 more euros in my housekeeping money every week, I headed off to Bray to buy some canvas from the Art Shop and have a look around the town.

I spotted this coffee pot for €1.50/$2.28 in one of the second hand shops and just couldn't resist it. I have several tea pots but nothing to pour my coffee out of except the glass pot that belongs to the percolator and so I'm delighted with this one.

There were actually two in the shop so if you're in Bray, check out the Irish Cancer Society Shop and you'll find it's twin there.

So what's scrackin with YOU?

I got an unused pasta roller machine from the MS shop for SEVEN EURO. I do love a bargain.

Hi There, Found you via the Irish Artist blog, and I have been lurking for a while, when I first found you I read back about a year and LOVED your blog!

I love your letters to your daughters, funny, but I know not so funny, mine are smaller and not too too mouthy yet...I can't wait

(your photos and art are amazing too!!)

Just thought I'd de-lurk...

the recipe looks delicious...what is it? I often make a week's worth of meals in one day; I only cook for myself, but it does save quite a bit of time.
