Dear Sarah,
I'm so glad that everything seems to be going so well for you at your new school. Every morning you hold my hand as we walk towards the school and then you drop it when we walk through the school gates in case your friends might see.
This morning you wouldn't kiss me goodbye and I felt a little sad inside as I watched you laugh and walk away into the school yard towards your friends. You looked over your shoulder and you walked back over to me
"But I can give you a hug" you whispered probably knowing that I needed it more than you.
