I've been so busy lately that I only got to change my February masthead, up there on the top of my blog, this morning. I took the photo of that daffodil from a pot of them I bought in Tescos for €2.99 because nothing that colourful ever grows in my garden and because daffodils mean spring and spring means March so could somebody please tell him up there to stop throwing snow down and warm this feckin country up a little.
So, since my last post I've; been to Paris and back, had a central heating boiler crisis, two birthdays for our oldest and youngest daughters, painted two paintings, put on weight, become addicted to expressos, emptied my bank account and had a continous period for one month.
How cool am I?
They say a picture speaks a thousand words so here goes.
That's Paris where I tagged along on Rods business trip. I saw the Mona Lisa again and walked and walked during the days while he was at his meetings and my mother was at home in my house minding my four kids with no heating or hot water.
Now how cool am I?
Not as cool as her.
She was feckin freezing.
A feckin freezing saint.
That's my mum

PUT ON WEIGHT???? I was under the impression you had lost 3.4lb's what gives????
I for one think you are uber cool. I want to be you when I grow up. :)
(chronologically I think I am older than you by a couple of months...it's that other, immature state of mind that keeps me from kicking up my heels and heading for Paris...must work on it!)
You must have inherited the coolness from your mum. :)
