THE DAY AFTER THE NIGHT BEFORE

On Friday night I went to a Dinner Party in a friends house. There were six of us and we had a meal better than any restaurant I've been in recently. She cooked up a beautiful fillet steak recipe from the Avoca Handweavers Cook Book Number 2. I have the first Cook Book and now I'm dying to get my hands on this one to try out a few for myself. She opened a bottle of bubbly in honour of The Husband and I and our 25 year life sentence. Many more bottles followed that.

Since Audrey and Lara and Rachel were all in different houses the next day, Saturday, I went grocery shopping with The Husband and Sarah. I couldn't resist picking these up in Dunnes Stores Supermarket in Cornelscourt. They were so cheap.

€8 for the brush and pan and €10 for the sweeping brush. They actually look like something you might find in Avoca Handweavers.

While I was there my friend Sandy called to tell me that she had picked me up a jar of Onion Marmalade since I'd mentioned how delicious it sounded in a previous entry.

Thanks Sandy.

How I LOVE the Internet.

If there is anybody else out there who'd like to send me something I've made a short list below for your convenience.

A 2 carat diamond ring.
A Lexus car.
2 Tickets to The Maldives.
Someone to mind all four kids for one year.
A camera that doesn't take shots five minutes after you press the button.
A personal Chef.
Laser Hair Removal Treatments x 50
Breast Augmentation.
A New Brain.....because this is the kind of thing I do the day after drinking a lot of wine at Dinner Parties

You'll have to try that marmalade on some hotdogs. It rocks and I bet the kids would love it too
